Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Children
We make an Extra Virgin 0rganic Olive Oil for the children of today whilst also preserving their world for tomorrow.

Biancolì is not just a product of organic agriculture, obtained with natural methods without the use of pesticides, our respect for the environment, the unique location of our farm and the exclusive use of the particular Biancolilla olive, known for its delicate and non-acid flavour, makes it particularly pleasing to the palate of children.

In addition, our choice of late-harvesting the olives allows us to obtain an olive oil with an even more delicate taste and sweeter flavour, while maintaining all the benefits, vitamins and minerals naturally contained in Biancolì.

OUR METHOD
Our organic farm practices traditional harvesting methods with manual picking which is the most delicate on the olives to guarantee their integrity, thus excluding oxidation, which may occur when using industrial machines. At the organic oil-mill, the olives are pressed every evening within maximum 12 hours of harvesting at the end of each day’s work, and the oil is extracted by cold-pressing so as to preserve the natural, characteristic aroma and flavour. The EVO is then stocked in special small 50 litre stainless steel tanks thus avoiding the use of nitrogen to prevent oxidazation and preserving all the best organoleptic qualities of our product.
UNSPOILED AREA
The area where the olive grove falls is far from highways, airports, industries and any other urban settlement, close to the heart of the Madonie mountains of Sicily, which includes a 400 km2 Natural Park recognised as UNESCO Global Geopark as it preserves a very rich and rare natural heritage.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY
As an alternative to pesticides, we   have   many animals   on   the    farm, amongst which small –size donkeys. Thanks to these, we do not have to work the soil mechanically, saving CO2. Also, each of our actions respects bees, our allies. The energy we consume on the farm is all produced by using solar-panels and the wood yield from pruning is used to heat the house in winter.

ORGANIC
The olive grove of the farm benefits of a rare biological integrity. Since its planting in 1970, no chemical has ever been used on our soils. All we need is the sun, the rain and the particularly crispy mountainous air of our unique area in the centre of Sicily. We may lose yield but we gain wholeness and salubrity. No compromise for what we feed our children, even before our clients!
