Apart from omega 6 and omega 3, olive oil also contains oleuropein and oleocanthal. Oleuropein protects the cardiovascular system, increases arterial elasticity, lowers blood pressure and fights arteriosclerosis; oleocanthal, instead, has anti-inflammatory properties similar to ibuprofen.
To achieve Biancolì’s special soft taste, we harvest the fully ripe fruit which gives our organic extra virgin olive oil an unmistakable flavour. We rest our oil in small stainless steel tanks for 9 months, protected from light, air, heat, and without the addition of nitrogen.
